wow you iced those amazingly beautiful..I just slap mine on...but yours wow, I am just impressed with the effort....I hate baking, so by the time it gets to icing or not I am frustrated and just want it over with.
Nice icing job! Look at you getting all fancy by colour coordinating the cupcakes on the plate. They looked delicious, and as a result of this freaking post, I will have to make cupcakes tomorrow as I am now craving some.
thanks Pam. I'm not posting the recipe on that one--it's my top secret vanilla cake recipe, which will only be released to the public WHEN I'M DEAD. Heh heh
Melissa, I have no idea that the icing was going to turn out looking so fun--especially in the pictures, they look like little rosettes. Swirly, swirl! I love baking, but hardly ever do it for obvious lack of willpower reasons.
coordinating them was half the fun, Sandra. Then I got to ignore my poor family some more by taking endless food pictures. More fun. I was toying with the art jerk idea of how to convey ENTICING in pictures. Mostly though, it was just a good diversion from washing the f*cking dishes.
did your son hate it? cuz he looks a wee bit less than thrilled in that one pic.
ReplyDeleteyeah, it looks that way, but they were just being crazy...or, being themselves!
