Sunday Inspiration

Erica Jong, author:

Everyone has talent. What is rare is the courage to follow the talent to the dark place where it leads.

Harriet Beecher Stowe, writer:

Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.

Eleanor Roosevelt, activist:

You Learn by Living.  You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." You must do the thing you think you cannot do.

Janis Joplin, American singer:

Don't compromise yourself. You are all you've got.

Anne Frank, writer

In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. I simply can't build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery and death

This is a life long one for me.

Without getting into detail, it seems , I just keep topping the last, horror.

Thanks for posting this...it is what I needed to carry on with my day. It is 7:26 here and as I drink my coffee, I am thinking of the mountain of work that looms.

  8. . . .and she nails it again - thank you Karen!
The horrors are world changing and we have to do it every day. One of my favorite quotes, "Oh, God, are you really that stupid that I have to teach you a better way? I thought I was done raising children. Guess I was wrong. Shit."
