Sunday Inspiration

See this seemingly unremarkable picture I took here?

While out for a morning walk with Ella, under a very grey sky, I spotted a little white under a tree in front of a nearby church.  And then I FREAKED.

Spring!  Spring is coming!  There are new tulip and daffodil shoots in my garden.  There are new leaves on my angel trumpet plant, which has been sleeping down the basement over the winter.  My Bougainvillea has been blooming beside the window!

It's coming, and nothing can stop it now!

And Spring arose on the garden fair,
Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast
rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.

—Percy Bysshe Shelley

  2. isn't spring delicious to the soul? we skipped winter here this year altogether, which is probably why we're getting the tornados now. but seeing our trees popping out in full bloom makes me smile every time i look out the window.

  4. I wish that we had spring. :( We go from summer, to a little chilly back to summer. You may see this as complaining, but I do miss the winter sometimes. :)

    1. Even if I saw it as complaining, I would never mind. Complaining, bitching, griping, lamenting--all welcome here! Hooray!

      If I miss anything about the winter we usually have but didn't, it's the sunny days that come with February--and all the heaps of white snow. It's been grey, grey, grey, and more grey.
